Abigail Hefferon - Winger / Striker #25

I started playing football at Carrick Rangers girls  when i was 5 years old and played there until I joined Ballyclare Comrades Ladies FC in 2022 then signed for Carrick Rangers FC Falcons in February 2024

I am from Carrickfergus Co Antrim, I have a 12 year old brother called Zach who plays for Carrick Rangers 2012s. My mum Lynda is the kit woman for our woman’s team and my dad Gareth is a coach for the Carrick Rangers 2017s. Our family has followed Carrick Rangers for many years. 

Some of my favourite hobbies are reading and spending time with my family and boyfriend, I also help out in the Carrick Rangers merch shop. 

My favourite thing about playing for the Falcons is that everyone makes you feel welcome and part of the family. Another thing i like is being able to have fun with my teammates and being able to be myself around them.

My Favourite type of music is country music. Some musicians i like to listen to are Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen and Ella Langley.
